A group of ten found guilty of cyber-bullying against Brigitte Macron

A court in Paris has ruled against ten people for engaging in the cyber-bullying of Brigitte Macron, the wife of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

The those on trial faced allegations of disseminating untruths regarding her sex and sexual orientation, in addition to making malicious remarks about the husband and wife's age disparity of 24 years.

The court delivered conditional custodial sentences of as much as eight months to the defendants. The complete verdict has not yet been published.

This Monday's court decision in France coincides with the Macrons pursuing a libel case in the United States of America against right-wing influencer Candace Owens, who has likewise promoted comparable unfounded claims about the French president's wife's identity.

Their legal filing alleges that Owens brushed aside all credible evidence that refuted her assertions opting to give a platform to established defamers.

Owens has frequently reiterated these allegations on her digital program and social networks, and in March 2024 stated that she would bet her whole career on her insistence that Mrs. Macron was born a man.
