Homages Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Face a Security Hold.

More than two weeks subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of celebrated filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the duo.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he just recently felt prepared to post publicly about his profound loss.

"Enough time has gone by that I can at last articulate my loss into words," posted Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started spending more time together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor shared never-before-seen clips from the movie, adding that he cannot recall "a single day without joy".

"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob valued immensely. That is part of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes expressed.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a different piece, revered director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the main character.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked wonderfully with the cast, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Withheld

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge ruled to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' autopsy reports, after an appeal from the local authorities.

A court order put a restriction on the files to limit the public release of "related notes, notes, reports or photos" connected to the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a public database listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

Following the deaths, public individuals offered divergent reactions.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, providing provocative claims that were met with immediate backlash by several public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his criticism to the critics recently. Speaking on his podcast, Rogan labeled the remarks as "shocking" and implied they showed a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan ended by suggesting that an adviser could have acted when the choice to weigh in on the death was made.
