'Living a Nightmare': Loved Ones of Missing Teens Await News After Alpine Inferno

The families of teens missing after a tragic fire at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are confronting an excruciating period of uncertainty for answers and pleading for any details about their family members online.

The inferno engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Confirmed video show the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with sparklers are raised in celebration.

Emergency services have stated that it could take an extended period to formally name the those who perished of the fire, which killed four dozen individuals and wounded another scores more. Officials noted on Friday that the majority of the injured have been accounted for, with efforts still underway to name the other six.

In the meantime, relatives have been posting on online platforms to appeal for any news about their friends who were present at the venue that fateful night.

Appeals for the Missing

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are currently unknown, according to an public plea from his mother.

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on holiday but had gone out with a group and found himself at the bar.
