Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer preparing for major competition

The rising star boasts substantial social media presence

The young golfer can count on multiple prominent supporters when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He essentially told me to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's a more impressive person. He advised me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai brings golf to wider groups, specifically with younger fans.

The social media influencer has a massive following and recently launched her own apparel and wellness company.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
